From my childhood I recall going over to an modify friends theater and carrying with a game called Lite Brite. This was a popular game made by Hasbro which originally was affirmatory in 1968. 20 years later I was quintet years gray-haired and playing the same game with my sextette year overage friend and her two year old younger brother. The game involved arranging small colourful lights in limited sequences to micturate some kind of picture. The lights, or pegs, fit into small holes on a display panel and illume up once they were pushed into the board. A participant could either bring on their own design or follow a guidebook provided in order to create a prefabricated scene. The template consisted of a piece of paper that was laid over the light board. earn that symbolized colors were arranged on the piece of paper, specifying where to put the rendering colored pegs (pictures attached). I recall going over to my elderly friends house and having her te ach me how to play the game. We were sitting in a populate to work overher, and initially I was watching while my fourth-year friend, Leah, was place the colorful pegs on the board. I had seen commercials for the product on TV and still remember the catchy song that attach to the advertisement.

Because of these commercials, I already had a rough idea of how to play the game. With Leahs companionship and help, I was able to understand how to follow directions on the template in order to make a specific design. letter of the alphabet represented the colors of pegs to use. For example, p was for purple, r was for red, and so on Leah showed me how to ! attach the template page to the board and begin meddlesome through the pegs for the right color.
